  • One (1) SPS-3648 Marion Batch Mixer, 304 stainless steel; 36” dia. x 4’-0”; 30 cu. ft. mixing capacity
     

  • ¼” polishing quality trough and ends with end opposite drive bolted, less gasketing (can be seal welded if required); 3-7/16” dia. solid mainshaft with welded arms and welded paddle blades; 3-7/16” pillow block ball bearings
     

  • Internal welds ground to minimum #80-grit finish
     

  • Easy-clean (split design) stuffing box shaft seals, air-purged type; pure Teflon seal parts with pure Teflon packing
     

  • 8” discharge tube and flange (suitable for mounting butterfly valve); less outlet guard; bottom offset discharge position
     

  •  No cover, top opening to include laser cut safety grate at end opposite drive with redundant safety limit switches, seal tight and fittings wired to a common junction box
     

  • Lifting lugs
     

  • Mounting pads on bottom corners of mixer end plates including caster wheels with low profile location brackets
     

  • 20 Hp TEFC motor, 3p, 60 HZ, 1800 rpm, 230/460V frame #256T

  • One (1) Marion High-Speed Chopper assembly (less motor), including:

         Threaded removable drive shaft extension with slinger and guard, Style “E” adjustable stuffing box shaft seal, air-purged type, pure Teflon packing; cast 316 stainless steel tulip blade; chopper mounting bracket located on downsweep side of mixer trough.  

    11/2” 304 SS air manifold with 0-125 PSI filter regulator and three (3) 0-50 PSI regulators with gauges for shaft seals (chopper and mainshafts); piping from manifold to each seal (poly-flo) 
     

  • Carbon steel components (bearing plates, gussets, torque-arm bracket, motor, reducer, bearings and chopper bracket) painted with stainless steel epoxy
