How does Marion design a mixer that's right for our application? The design process begins by gathering detailed product and process information. Marion Mixers maintains trial mixers that are available free of charge to our customers. Data such as horsepower, start-up torque, mix time and ingredient addition rates are recorded for future use in designing a production sized mixer. With on-site testing, the mixing process is verified by the customer before the production sized mixer is built.

Our mixing requirements are very specific. What makes Marion Mixers so unique that they can design a mixer that meets our requirements?Marion's sales engineers match data gathered from testing with performance information of current mixing applications. Our database contains historically proven mixing applications in a wide variety of industries. Based on empirical and historical data, Marion sales engineers create written specifications for each component of the proposed mixer, ie: trough, agitator, discharge, covers, drive train and support structure. Based on application requirements, a variety of materials, surface finishes and specialty accessories may be incorporated into the design.

Can we get drawings of the mixer before production begins? Most assured. Before production begins, Marion's engineering department creates detailed drawings for customer review and approval. Drawing files can be e-mailed to our customers for timely response of design changes.

How does your quality compare to competitors?Experienced fabricators handcraft each mixer one at a time… no assembly lines, no mass production. Documented reviews for quality control and safety features are conducted on each mixer before shipment from our production facility.

Do you guarantee your mixers?Marion Mixers, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser only that the equipment supplied shall be free from defective workmanship and material for a period of twelve (12) months following date of start-up but not more than fifteen (15) months following date of shipment. This warranty shall not apply to electric motors, gear reducers or other equipment components not manufactured by Marion Mixers, Inc. and the warranty on such components is limited to that extended by the component manufacture. This warranty is made in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied. Moreover, it shall not apply to any unit which has been altered or modified outside the factory in such a way to influence the durability of the product. Seller’s sole responsibility shall be the replacement of defective parts and shall not include installation labor. Seller can give no warranty as to the suitability or performance of the equipment in the Buyer’s intended purpose or use.
