Drying Systems ![]()
There is no “silver bullet” technology for drying solutions. Feedstocks vary. A variety of drying technologies should be considered with each application. Our approach as a custom design equipment manufacturer is to consider all aspects of the project and design the equipment accordingly. To determine if the solution is cost effective, there are basic considerations to keep in mind:
Our abrasion resistant mixers offer:
Operating Costs
A reasonable payback (ROI) is based on total connected horsepower and the energy cost compared to other fuel sources. The cost to dry one wet-ton per hour compared to other technologies and the cost to dry higher wet-ton levels per hour is based on the target industry and production requirements.
Application Management
We provide real-world solutions for waste-to-energy project applications. For example, we recently participated on a test project to verify the btu value, moisture content and ash content of a mixture of biomass waste streams. The company’s feedstock required special handling equipment from Marion Mixers to mix and dry the material before operating a 10 ton test sample in a fully permitted gasifier. Whether your project involves pelletizing, briquetting, thermal or forced air drying, methane capture, gasification or any other biosolid/biomass application contact us today. We offer:
