MIXER TROUGH AND END PLATES:

  • 1/4” T304 polishing quality stainless steel trough.
  • 1/4” T304 polishing quality stainless steel end plates.
  • End plate (opposite drive) flanged, with seal weld (for agitator removal).
  • End plate (drive end) with fillet welds.
  • 36” diameter x 48" long (inside mixing chamber dimensions).

AGITATOR:

  • 3 7/16” diameter solid T304 stainless steel mainshaft.
  • Welded arms and welded 5/16” thick T304 stainless steel paddle blades.
  • Blade clearance set at 0.030” from the bottom centerline of the trough.

MAINSHAFT BEARINGS:

  • 3 7/16” diameter Sealmaster pillow block mainshaft ball bearings.
  • Carbon steel bearing plates and gussets.
  • Lifting points.

MAINSHAFT SEALS:

  • Marion Style “E” 37/16” diameter split and adjustable stuffing box mainshaft seals.
  • Air-purge provision.
  • Pure Teflon™ machined components and packing.
  • Assembly equipped with 1/8” NPT threaded connection.
  • Each seal must be regulated with 3-6 psi of clean filtered air at each seal assembly (by customer).
  • Shaft run-out, in the seal area, not to exceed 0.005”.

DISCHARGE PORT:

  • 8" diameter discharge tube and flange.
  • Bottom offset discharge position.
  • 8" diameter butterfly discharge valve.
  • EPDM seat.
  • Lever-actuated handle.
  • Outlet guard.

COVER:

  • 12-ga. T304 stainless steel gasketed cover, split at the center.
  • One 36" x 24" hinged access door located at end opposite drive.
  • Laser-cut safety grate under access door.
  • One 36" x 21" hinged access door located at drive end.
  • Access doors hinged parallel to the main shaft.
  • Redundant safety limit switches actuated by grate removal and drive end access door.

AIR-SUPPLY MANIFOLD:

  • One 1 1/2” NPS diameter stainless steel air-supply manifold.
  • Mounted on down-sweep side of trough and piped to seals.
  • Low-pressure regulators and gauges for each mainshaft seal.
  • High pressure/regulator filter for inlet.
  • Dry filtered air line to be supplied by customer

BLENDER MATERIAL & FINISH:

  • Internal product contact surfaces polished to #120-grit finish.
  • External carbon steel support components (bearing plates, gussets, torque-arm bracket and structural legs) and mainshaft bearings painted with one coat primer and one topcoat Machinery White Enamel.
  • Drive and motor with standard factory paint finish.

  • Mixer furnished with English and Spanish warning labels
  • Two Instruction, Operations and Maintenance (IOM) manuals with spare parts list

  • 110-VAC solenoid mounted and piped (less field wiring and controls).
  • Position switches to indicate full “open” or “closed”.
  • Bottom center discharge position.

  • Interior and contact parts with #120-grit polished finish; all welded interior construction with fillets welds (except end opposite drive); ¼” polishing quality trough, ¼” polishing quality ends with end opposite drive bolted (less gasketing, can be seal welded if required).
  • 27/8” dia. solid mainshaft with welded arms and welded paddle blades; 27/8 pillow block ball bearings.
  • Easy clean (split design) stuffing box shaft seals, air-purged type, and pure Teflon seal parts.
